Well they are done!! The first from the Marlie Draught Horse Stud series inspired by my attendance at the Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular. Will and Banjo their two Wheelers. Going to that show has sparked a truly wonderful journey. I’ve met so many beautiful people and learned so much and it started here. The surface of this piece has a very gritty look and feel created by the linen and the way I gessoed it. I wanted the texture to capture the feeling of grit that the horses conveyed.
