Description

This moring I’ve been busy creating a little loving world with this piece. This is that lovely lady Roo I painted recently, but now with her bubba (who is so super cute by the way) with the Willy Wagtails and the butterflies. This was the morning time. She comes daily. Most recently she brought her bubba and her teenager to the fence. Honey and I were with the bees nearby, and so I suggested we go inside so she could feel safe to come through the fence and graze our lawn that we have been keeping for her. So we did and watched her from the lounge. This is her there enjoying an early morning breakfast with her bubba. You can see how dry it was. This was only last week, but now it’s all green as the dry season has broken and the wet season is upon us.
What I love most about wildlife is that it’s wild. It’s very hard to control. And just as with people, friends, employees, anybody really, well if your need for control is out of control and you think they need to do what you say simply because you said it or you believe you know the right way or you’re the boss or whatever land you live in within your head, well, you’ve already lost. Your world is devoid of the potential for magic. When someone offers communication, ideas, memories, inspiration, suggestion it’s because they’re free. There’s not much that lives in the land of loyal opposition. I personally don’t engage in it. I’m free. I love the magic of inspired thought, inspired communication, inspired intelligence, inspired collaboration. There was something so magical and special about this roo choosing our place, her coming to the fence, her quite visibly asking to come in, and our walking away to allow it. We turned around and she was still looking. Looking at where she wanted to go and then looking at us. So I motioned at us and where we stood and then gave a sweeping gesture with my hand – “We have come back over here for you. Please go in now and enjoy.” Recognition. Mine. Hers. There was no language barrier. Just a common desire to collaborate and create a better situation where we both won. She immediately carefully hopped through the fence and went to her favourite breakfast patch and ate.
Hope you like 🥰
